Tournaments at Porirua Rocks!

#1: The Porirua Rocks Invitational Tournament
ach year, we invite the hottest wrestlers from around the country to take part in our invitational one night tournament and crown The King of Porirua.
Last year, “The Big Man” Jamie Tagataese (Aotearoa Wrestling) defeated Pauly Spitfire (Valiant Pro), “Tiger King” Rowan Davis (Capital Pro Wrestling) and “The Antidote” JK Moody (Southern Pro Wrestling) in an absolute barn burner to become the inaugural King.
This year, we’ve scouted the country and invited 4 more who we have picked as the hottest wrestlers in Aotearoa this year. These 4 men will battle it out in 2 qualifying matches, before joining the winner of the Fix-it-Fitzy $5000 Rumble, in our main event, where a new champion will be crowned.
2:40pm “Killer King” Micheal Richards (Aotearoa Wrestling) vs “Hooligan” Marcus Kool (Southern Pro Wrestling)
4:50pm “The King of the South” Azza (Southern Pro Wrestling) vs Jake Shehaan (Impact Pro Wrestling).
Anything can happen. Pick your champion and cheer them on.

#2: 5-Way Ladder Match for the Aotearoa New Zealand Flyweight Championship
Danny Octane (Valiant Pro) vs Dusty Bridges (River City Pro Wrestling) vs Defending Champion Cam Kaiba (Aotearoa Wrestling) vs Connor King (Big Japan Wrestling) vs Cool Guy Sky (Southern Pro Wrestling)
Five combatants will be fighting for the Aotearoa New Zealand Flyweight Championship, with the belt hanging 20ft above the ring. The match is won by climbing the ladder and grabbing the belt.
The Aotearoa New Zealand Flyweight Title is the country’s only travelling title, not tied to any single promotion and is defended all around the country. Cam Kaiba is the first champion, having won a tournament in 2024 to crown an inaugural champion and defeating ACJ at IPW Hawkes Bay Trouble in Taradale on 18th October 2024.
Cam Kaiba seeks to keep his reign going, by fighting off some of the best high flyers this country has to offer.
Expect big crashes and flippy, high flying action to keep you on the edge of your seat!

THE FIX-IT-FITZY $5000 RUMBLE

You don’t have to be a wrestling fan to enjoy the drama, the countdown clock, the entrances, the surprises, and the sheer adrenaline.⏰👀
Last year Pauly Spitfire threw the One-Eyed Assassin Dusty Bridges out to take home the cash. Who will run away with the richest prize in Porirua this year?

CAPITAL PRO WRESTLING HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
The richest prize in New Zealand wrestling is back and on the line at Porirua Rocks 2. CPW Heavyweight Champion and 18 year veteran “Heavy Metal” Dan Martins signed on the dotted line and will defend his beloved championship against his arch nemesis and leader of the Gunn Cabinet Ray Gunn.
The hate these 2 have for each other is unparalleled and they are not going to leave anything in the ring. Who will come out on top as these life-long adversaries battle it out one last time.
