Shepherds Reign is taking the NZ metal scene by storm winning at the Pacific Music Awards 2021 and 2022.

Releasing their latest album ‘Ala Mai’ in August 2023, Shepherds Reign went on tour including being able to debut their live shows in Samoa, headlining a show at Le Manumea Hotel and playing in the Teuila Festival. Being able to perform in Samoa was not only an extremely honouring and special moment for the band , but this also marked the first ever heavy metal band to perform in Samoa in history!

Curlys Jewels

CURLYS JEWELS

Curlys Jewels are a rock band from Wellington. Their sound has been described as grungy yet powerfully emotive, pinned together with soaring vocals, dark guitar undertones and a punching rhythm section. The charismatic, colourful and instantly likeable front person, Jel Pollock, draws listeners in with her delightfully unique stage presence and sensational vocal range. Aaron Ludlow (guitar), Andy van der Heyden (bass) and Corey Bell (drums), provide the energetic foundations complimenting Jel, with all members lighting up the stage.

PULL DOWN THE SUN

Conceived in 2014, Pull Down The Sun create atmospheric and groove-heavy music shaped and inspired by the curious history and scenic nature of Aotearoa.

Having played up and down the country, PDTS are no strangers to New Zealand. Boasting an international standard of modern metal, they have been hand picked to support many local and international acts. PDTS bring a wondrous reference frame of late 90’s ‘Deftones’ style riff mastery, coupled with modern influences of metal elites such as ‘Gojira’ and ‘Isis’.

In doing so, Pull Down the Sun creates a glorious set of imagery that holds true to sheer riff obedience, making motions from heavy and erratic, to dark and moody, through to light and uplifting with minimal effort.

Dead Zephyrs

THE DEAD ZEPHYRS

Winners of the NZ Battle of the Bands 2023. The Dead Zephyrs are a Rock n Roll band from Masterton and are all about bringing the show to you! Including singer Ryan Coles, Bass player Chrispy Parkinson, Jordan Tredray rippin’ the skins, and Brian B shredding licks like you’ve never seen. The Dead Zephyrs are ready to ceremoniously rip the roof off of Te Rauparaha Arena with their distortion and soul.
