Now in its second year, Porirua Rocks is Wellington’s biggest celebration of Kiwi Rock Music, Wrestling and Craft Beer! The festival brings together thousands of people to experience an event like no other. There’s something for everyone and the action is non-stop.

At Porirua Rocks everyone is treated with respect and Aroha; nothing is a problem, and every effort is made to ensure your day is as enjoyable as possible. Capacity is limited. Make sure you get in early and secure your tickets to avoid disappointment.

TICKETING

Ticketspace.co.nz is the exclusive authorized ticketing agent for Porirua Rocks 2025. Only Ticketspace.co.nz is authorised to operate as a resale platform. Be cautious when seeking to purchase tickets from any third party platforms and social media, as duplicate or invalid tickets will result in us refusing you entry to the festival, without a refund. If you do not purchase a ticket directly from the authorised agent, we cannot guarantee that your ticket is genuine. Never purchase from ticket resellers such as Viagogo, Trade Me or Facebook Marketplace. These retailers are known sources of fraudulent tickets and we cannot guarantee whether tickets purchased from these platforms are genuine.

Please be aware that this year Porirua Rocks is a strictly R18 event. Sorry, if you’re under 18, you’ll need to wait until the next one.

Your ID will be checked when you swap your ticket for a wristband, accepted forms of ID are: NZ Drivers License, Passport, or Kiwi Access Card

GETTING TO THE EVENT

The event is located at Te Rauparaha Arena, 17 Parumoana Street Porirua.
To get the most out of your day we would recommend getting to the event as early as possible. Some of the best entertainment is up first. Te Rauparaha Arena is smack bang in

the centre of Porirua CBD, and a 10 minute walk from Porirua train station on the Kapiti line with trains frequent from Kapiti and Wellington.

Parking at the venue is limited so if you are coming from further afield, we would recommend using a rideshare app or public transport. We advise you not to park in carparks outside of Te Rauparaha or risk getting ticketed.

GETTING HOME

Porirua Rocks 2 is scheduled to finish at 9:45pm

For those coming from outside of Porirua, and using public transport, we will be providing complimentary buses to Porirua train station from the Arena. These buses will begin departing at 9:15pm and going back and forth until 10:15pm. There are scheduled to be trains to Wellington and Kapiti at 9:39/10:39pm and 9:35/10:35pm respectively.

Ticketing is located at Te Rauparaha Arena reception. This is where you can exchange you ticket for a wristband and gain entry to the event.
